Budrie, wreck site, Burra Sound

Originally called Canning, this steamship was built in 1882 by A and J Inglish of Glasgow and registered at Bombay. Owned at the start of WWI by Arab Steamers Ltd (and named Golconda), she was requisitioned at the start of WWI and sunk in Burra Sound on 3 October 1915. No remains are apparent, and it is likely that Budrie was blown up and dispersed in 1962.
