The Hoy Centre

Surrounded by magnificent scenery the Hoy Centre is ideally situated for a peaceful and relaxing holiday and is an ideal venue for outdoor education trips, weddings, workshops, clubs or family gatherings.

It offers high quality, four star accommodation, all rooms are ensuite with shower, twin beds and a bunk bed, chairs, lockers and bedding. One room is equipped for wheelchair access and the centre is all on one level. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area, a spacious dining hall and washing and drying facilities. Under floor heating ensures a comfortable temperature at all times.

Much of Hoy is an RSPB reserve comprising 3,500 hectares of upland heath and cliffs with a large variety of wildlife including Arctic hares. Off the west coast is the Old Man of Hoy - Orkney’s famous seastack -  and a great place to see puffins. The dramatic hills and cliffs offer excellent walking and climbing.
